4D Launches Gay Network Mobile

UK social media company launches mobile website and m-store for leading chat brand

4D Interactive, the UK social media company, has today announced the launch of a new mobile web site for Gay Network, its interactive chat and dating TV service on Sky Channel 877.

Gay Network Mobile enables UK singles to create profiles, upload pictures and exchange messages from the web browser on their mobile phone. Gay Network TV viewers will be able to use their existing nicknames on the mobile service which will also provide ‘click to call’ access to Gay Network Voice, one of the UK’s largest phone-based chat services. All user-generated content, including free profile picture uploads via MMS, will be moderated 24/7 for copyrighted and unwanted material.

The new portal, which was delivered in co-operation with mobile technology specialists Isomob, includes a mobile store that offers both free and premium content such as Bio Rhythms and Love Compatibility Tests. All transactions on Gay Network Mobile are carried out using the operator-backed Payforit mobile billing system.

4D Selects C3 For ‘Click & Call’ Services

4D will incorporate the new “Click & Call” technology into its portfolio of premium chat, dating and spiritual services where C3’s technology will provide the vital link between 4D’s traditional audience of landline and mobile callers and those accessing its services from the web.

MCC TRIALS NEW TELEPHONE SERVICE FOR CRICKET FANS

MCC has joined forces with 4D Interactive to trial a new telephone service for cricket fans across the UK, enabling them to access the Home of Cricket at any time. By simply dialling into a non-premium rate telephone service, callers have access to low cost information and entertainment from Lord’s.

The new service, based on 4D’s Sports Chat product, provides cricket fans with the opportunity to use landline and mobile phones to interact with other cricket fans, access scores from Lord’s and around the UK, hear the latest news from the Home of Cricket. They can also test their cricket knowledge and debate the very latest issues in the game, with the opportunity to send their own views direct to Lord’s, all from just 10p per minute from a BT land line.
